Details on sales of shares
The prospectus of the company is prepared in Amharic & English [download]. Prospective investors, who wish to subscribe to shares of Hibir Agro. Industry S.C. may acquire a copy of the prospectus from the head office of the S.C located near the new Bole Medihinalem church, Sheger House building 2nd floor, room No 203.
Application forms are attached in this prospectus for individual and company subscribers. The subscribers may obtain the form from company head quarter, branch offices and sales agents. Each share has par value of 1000 birr and service charge of birr 60 (6%).
Payment
- Thirty percent (30%) of the subscribed amount plus the 6% service charge of the total amount up on subscription of the sales
- Forty percent (40%) six months after the first payment in the first week of the seventh month
- The remaining 30% after six month of the 2nd payment and the first week of the seventh month.
Subscribers are kindly requested to deposit the funds for 30% of the total share subscription plus the 6% service charge to the account of Hibir Agro-Industry S.C. and then to present the filled application form in person to the company's head office branch office or our sales agents, together with the deposit slip from the bank. The payment for the share subscription should be deposited in the blocked account and the six percent service charge should be deposited in current account opened at the same branch for this purpose.
Notes:
- The deposited slip and receipt vouchers are evidence of subscription of shares. Therefore, subscribers should keep them carefully until formal share certificate is issued upon payment for the total of shares subscribed.
- Sales agents are not expected to receive cash from the prospective subscribers.
Objectives of Hiber
The overall objective of Hiber Agro Industry is to increase food production and derive benefits for its share holders.
The specific objectives include:
- Fattening (cattle, sheep and goats), dairy development, forage production, poultry production, apiary development and large scale irrigated agriculture.
- Achieving any other activities that are related to Hiber Agro Industry Share Company.
