The suitability of the investment policy

The government program to make the country one of those in the middle income by year 2025. To achieve the mission the government has launched large development activities. The government’s incentive to encourage private entrepreneurs to seek solutions to the existing problems in agricultural development is considered.

The availability of natural resources including huge livestock population

Most areas of our country has favorable climate to undertake agricultural development. Production will be boosted by introducing improved technology. Likewise instead of focusing on livestock number, quality based and result oriented development effort will be pursued to fill the gaps that are observed currently.

Trained manpower in the agricultural sector

Like in other fields of specialization the country has adequate number of high level agricultural trained manpower. Hiber Agro Industry Share Company encourages such trained manpower to join the private sector such of ours to access improved benefit from the sector instead of focusing on a monthly employment income.

Market

Our farmers have been dependent for years on rain fed agriculture. The land use pattern is haphazard and sporadic which limited to be subsistent farmer and unable to feed others. Thus, if production increases the demand for the produce is wide and market constraint is not the issue to be concerned. The objective of such a company is to achieve increased supply to be able to process products and encourage farmers to sell their produce to the company for processing to achieve value added not only for internal market but also for export.

Current produce supply and soaring price

The current escalating price of agricultural produce including livestock products and byproducts is affecting people particularly those earning low income. To alleviate such a problem and to benefit both the producer and the consumers’ multidisciplinary activities must be performed.
